Giovanni is an Italian fashion photographer living in London, United Kingdom. Born and raised in Pesaro, a town on Italy's Adriatic coast, he then moved to California, at the age of 17, to continue his high school education. He then enrolled at the London College of Fashion, where he pursued a BA in Fashion Photography. During his education, he also spent time in New York working at GB65 under the wings of Giovanni Bianco, former creative director of Vogue Italia.
After completing his studies, Giovanni gained valuable experience working for over 3 years as a studio manager for fashion photographer Brett Lloyd. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the making of Brett Lloyd's book "Napoli Napoli Napoli".
Giovanni's photography embodies a profound connection to his Italian heritage, seamlessly blending it with an innate ability to capture the beauty of his subjects in a refined manner. His mastery shines particularly in his black and white portraits, which exude both delicacy and power, devoid of any artificiality or vulgarity. Each subject is bathed in a light of sincerity, never distorted or misrepresented. It's evident from the caliber of his work that Giovanni draws inspiration from the photography masters he studied during his academic journey. Giovanni emerges as a quintessential modern-day photographer with an old-school sensibility, a talent not to be overlooked in the contemporary landscape of photography.
Giovanni is currently working between the UK and Italy for a variety of clients and magazines.
